18 March 2012 －Keanu Reeves discussed his new documentary SIDE BY SIDE with local film director Yonfan at the Jockey Club Cine Academy Master Class on Sunday, March 18. During the wide-ranging discussion and taking questions from the audience, the internationally acclaimed Reeves discussed the future of cinema, the digital revolution and his experiences in interviewing some of the major filmmakers of our era: Martin Scorsese, George Lucas, and James Cameron.
The Master Class is one of the major activities organised by the Academy, which was established in 2010 as a three-year film education programme run by the Hong Kong International Film Festival Society (HKIFFS) with a donation from The Hong Kong Jockey Club Charities Trust.
荷里活最炙手可熱的國際影星奇洛李維斯於3月18日出席了「賽馬會電影學堂」國際大師班為嘉賓，並由名導演兼藝術鑑賞家楊凡擔任主持。期間放映了由奇洛李維斯親自監製和主持的紀錄片《追踪電影未來》(Side by Side)。該片採訪了多位鼎鼎大名的電影人，包括： 馬田史高西斯(Martin Scorsese) 、佐治魯卡斯(George Lucas)和占士金馬倫(James Cameron) 等，透過他們的分享與發言，探索數碼電影技術的發展及利弊。奇洛李維斯在席中與觀眾暢談及交流電影心得。
國際大師班為賽馬會電影學堂(JCCA)其中一項主要活動，JCCA 成立於2010年，提供為期三年的教育活動，由香港國際電影節協會主辦，香港賽馬會慈善信託基金捐助。
