All good things must come to an end, and thankfully End of Evangelion gives the ultra-popular anime series a chance to redeem itself after the last two episodes bombed with fans. As such, ˇ§Airˇ¨ and ˇ§Sincerely Yoursˇ¨, the episodes shown in the film, act as an alternate ˇV and more fitting ˇV ending to this epic mecha show. With higher production values, loyalists are appeased, and those wondering what the fuss is all about can experience the intense action and the philosophical overtones that the series is famed for. After all, the deep and complex morality plays and spiritual views are more akin to those of Harlan Ellison's than George Lucas'.
