Bill Plympton, “King of Indie Animation”, collaborates with underground animator Jim Lujan to create a hand-drawn feature whose delirious multi-stranded plot’s satirical insanity recalls 1970s comics. Bounty hunter Rod Rosse, the One Man Posse, gets entangled when he takes on a job tracking down burglar Lana from an ex-biker/ex-wrestler turned U.S. senator “Deathface.” As he tries to fend off ruthless biker gangs, blood thirsty cults and crooked cops, the secrets held by the fearsome Lana come to light. A neo-noir, L.A. the sleazy underbelly in the 1970s, whose rascal characters you’ll find much resemblance in today’s America.
