Lola Arias’ innovative hybrid documentary/social experiment is an artistic project with one-time enemies of war. It tells the story of how three British and three Argentine veterans from the Falklands/Malvinas War come together to discuss and rehearse theatrical re-enactments of their memories, 35 years after the conflict. Artfully switching between reality and fiction, spontaneity and acting, the film turns their wartime experiences and postwar nightmares into a play, and inspires a strong bond between former enemies. Screening with The Tasmanian Tiger (13min).
